<p>How do you bottle the feeling of a perfect day by the sea? Not a particular beach, not a specific holiday but that hazy, happy feeling of sun on your face, salty air, sandy toes and nowhere else you need to be.</p>



<p>That was the question that kept coming up for <a href="https://xvinteriors.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">XV Interiors</a> founder Izzey Hung and designer Vicky Sanders. Their answer is Days Like These – a new wallpaper, fabric and home décor collection inspired by the relaxed elegance of Nantucket and the nostalgic charm of the British coastline.</p>



<p>“Days Like These… was born from our shared love of coastal living,” says Izzey. “We wanted to create something that wasn’t tied to one place, but rather a feeling.” That feeling could be a summer spent on the Isle of Wight, a family holiday in Cornwall, a favourite stretch of coastline discovered years ago, or simply the dream of a slower, seaside way of life.</p>

<p>The evocative collection feels like a memory you can step into. Less about decorating a room, more about creating that “just got back from the beach” feeling at home. Think slow mornings with coffee by an open window, long lunches that turn into evenings, coastal walks with the dog and those rare summer days you wish you could press pause on.</p>



<p>&#8220;I lived in Boston for six months in 2011 for work and whenever I could I&#8217;d escape to Nantucket,&#8221; she says. &#8220;I fell in love with its open spaces, the beautiful harbour, miles of cycle tracks and the understated palette of weathered, grey-shingled houses. And, of course, the hydrangeas. I loved them so much that when I came home, I filled my own garden with them. Those memories have stayed with me ever since and became a huge part of the feeling we wanted to capture in this collection.&#8221;</p>



<p>The hand-drawn designs are packed with little moments to discover. Surfers head towards the shoreline, paddleboarders drift across calm waters, sailboats sit on the horizon and striped loungers soak up the afternoon sun. Weathered coastal cottages sit among blooming hydrangeas, while beach paths and seaside scenes weave through the design like a story.</p>



<p>It is the kind of wallpaper you could stare at for ages and still notice something new – a tiny detail that takes you straight back to a favourite holiday or a place you love. And that’s exactly the point.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-personalised-designs">Personalised designs</h2>

<p>The new XV Interiors Days Like These collection includes wallpaper, cushions and home accessories designed to bring that relaxed coastal charm indoors. The wallpaper works beautifully as a statement moment – whether wrapped around a whole room, used to create a cosy reading nook or added as a backdrop to bring character to a hallway or bedroom. The cushions add an easy way to layer in the story, mixing pattern, colour and texture without making a space feel too “done”.</p>



<p>One particularly lovely detail? The designs can be personalised with meaningful place names, turning them into something completely unique. Whether it’s the name of a beloved beach, a favourite holiday destination, a family escape or somewhere that holds special memories, the personalisation adds that extra emotional connection – making the pieces feel like they belong to your story.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-stylish-coastal-interiors">Stylish coastal interiors</h2>



<p>Originally launched as XV Stripes, XV Interiors started with a simple idea: to make beautiful, sustainable home pieces inspired by life around the water. A hunt for the perfect blue-and-white striped duvet set became the starting point for a whole collection of colourful linens and accessories that brought a fresh take on coastal style.</p>



<p>The brand’s creative direction has continued to evolve as designer Vicky Sanders have developed XV’s signature style with playful yet sophisticated designs rooted in the idea that homes should tell stories.</p>
