Despite COVID-19 is disrupting all of our lives, many of our brilliant local businesses are soldiering on, but they need our help. Loads of Hants and Isle of Wight businesses are offering new services and innovative new ways to navigate this strange time and I&#8217;m continuing to shout out as much as possible because, well, every little helps right?

Need something to keep the littlies entertained in lockdown? Head to local biz <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Doodledots (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.doodledents.co.uk/" target="_blank">Doodledents</a> for a colouring activity with a twist (i.e. less chance of having the walls/table/dog drawn on).

<a href="https://www.thetenthhole.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="The Tenth Hole (opens in a new tab)">The Tenth Hole</a> is now open 10am to 4pm, seven days a week, serving takeaway cake, breakfast and lunch, and drinks. The golf course is also open!



<a href="https://thecanteen.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="The Canteen (opens in a new tab)">The Canteen</a> is open 10am to 3pm Wednesday to Sunday, serving sweet and savoury food from the servery along with drinks and ice cream. Don&#8217;t want to brave the outdoors? Order on Deliveroo instead. 



<a href="https://thebriny.co.uk" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="The Briny (opens in a new tab)">The Briny</a> is open 10am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday, serving fish and chips, beer, wine and a cocktails, as well as some fun chef&#8217;s specials on Friday and Saturday nights (think lobster and fries with seaweed salt and lobster mayo).

Wedding planning in lockdown (or just want a little something shiny for getting through the last few months)? Good news! The Hut are creating their own #HutHampers, which you can fill with your favourite dishes from the restaurant and then collect on foot (or by boat!), or have sent by local delivery. Dishes include everything from tuna poke bowls to cheeseburgers or grilled lobster &#8211; you can even wash it down with mixed cocktails! Perfect for celebrating in lockdown. 



One of our favourite luxe spa stays <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Chewton Glen (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.chewtonglen.com" target="_blank">Chewton Glen</a> in the New Forest is tentatively taking bookings from 4 July onward, but if you&#8217;re hesitant to book a date, here&#8217;s a great alternative. Buy a Full Spa Day voucher before 31 May (which you can redeem any time up to 18 months from now), and Chewton Glen will donate a Twilight Spa voucher to a local NHS worker as a thank you for their hard work. Feels like a win-win to us!
