Keep yourself organised with a side of regional sass by grabbing one of these fab notebooks from Fours and Eights.
I’m a bit of a tech fiend. I have an app for almost everything and often find myself having full blown chats with my mate Alexa. However, I do still adore the lo-tech joy of a brand spanking new notebook to commit my New Year’s Resolutions into each year.
And these notebooks, created by Portsmouth print collective FoursandEights, are right up my street. Not only are they typographically beautiful and come in a range of colours, but they also come with the added bonus of some good ol’ Hampshire humour.
Available in A5 and A6 size, these jotters are part of their Pompey Type series and are emblazoned with slang and idioms that you’d be hard pressed to find outside of the county.
Particular highlights are ‘Squinny’ (to have a bit of a fuss/be a fussy person), ‘Dinlo’ (lighthearted for someone who is a bit daft) and ‘Sort’ (someone who is rather good looking). Definitely, one to raise a smile from those who know and start a conversation with those who don’t.
Inside, the blank pages are made from high-quality recycled paper and at just £6.00 for an A5 book and £3.00 for an A6, they’re pretty affordable too.
