<p>Fore! Voted Best Café in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in the 2024 Muddy Awards, the cosy Tenth Hole tearoom is joined to a 9-hole pitch &amp; putt golf course. It&#8217;s also renowned for gooey lunchtime Mac &#8216;n&#8217; Cheese and truly unbelievable cakes and biscuit-brownie hybrids – Oreo brookie or fresh blackcurrant and apple crumble sponge, anyone? Vegan and gluten-free cake lovers won’t be disappointed either. </p>

<p>A firm favourite in Fleet and a popular finalist for Best Café in the 2024 Muddy Awards, it&#8217;s weekend every day at Two Spoons with its beautiful brunches, fresh barista coffees and after-work cocktails. If you happen to have the kids in-tow, once they&#8217;ve demolished their food there&#8217;s a cute little play area to pack them off to.</p>

<p>Tucked away in the eaves of a Grade II listed building, the Winchester Bakery has serves delicious pastries and fresh loaves, all baked close by. The cosy first floor café has beams, stripped wood floors and great views over the High Street &#8211; perfect for a spot of people-watching with your coffee and treats.</p>

<p>A rural café and events space near Alresford, this former barn was transformed into a light-filled café with outdoor seating surrounded by beautiful countryside. Grab a tasty cup of joe from Hampshire producer Moon Roast Coffee which share the site. Perfect on a chilly autumn day, the cosy snug room here has comfy armchairs and wood-burning stove.</p>

<p>A doggie and people-friendly café right in the centre of Basingstoke &#8211; named for the owner’s pooch &#8211; Willows gets their specialty coffee and teas from local Winchester-based producers, The Roasting Party and Char Teas. People-watch streetside or bag a seat on Willows’ big squidgy sofa as you tuck into tasty brownies, buns and pastries.</p>

<p>A coffee roastery and social enterprise, local producer Karuna Coffee uses all of its profit to support poverty relief projects around the world. Loved by locals in the know, their smart, community-minded coffee shop on Aldershot&#8217;s Wellington Street serves good cups of joe with freshly-baked pastries. If you&#8217;re writing a bestseller or on a deadline, head straight to the quiet, cosy area at the back of the cafe.  </p>

<p>A hidden gem in the back of the Lavant Street indie booksellers, this cosy local&#8217;s favourite café always has a tasty selection of homemade cakes and treats to go with your hot artisan coffee and newly released paperback. Lunch on veggie and vegan salads, tarts and tasty spinach croque monsieur or madames. </p>

<p>Hidden away in Northney Marina, the beachy Salt Shack café is always busy on sunny summer days. But the sheltered terrace and hearty BBQ breakfasts make it year-round go-to for loyal locals. Drop in after a windy morning walk for a hot chocolate and catch the autumn light as it settles over the moored yachts.</p>

<p>A destination farm shop in the village of Headbourne Worthy, Cobbs at Winchester&#8217;s cosy café serves perfectly poured coffee, cakes, brownies and treats from local bakeries and slap-up homemade breakfast and lunch dishes made using fresh seasonal ingredients. Don&#8217;t forget your tote as there&#8217;s plenty of foodie goodies to tempt in the shop here, too.</p>

<p>Surrounded by gorgeous West Wight countryside, the Chessell Café serves up coffees and hot chocolates in their own beautiful hand-thrown Chessell Ware mugs. Head out for a walk then warm up on a sofa beside the log burner with a slice (or three) from this cosy cafe&#8217;s absolutely awesome selection of homemade cakes. </p>

<p>Whopping great cream teas, good coffee and homemade cakes are the order of the day at this doggie-friendly seafront tearoom at the esplanade in Ventnor. Nip in after a walk on the beachfront and get cosy with café&#8217;s resident cute pooch, Tallulah.  </p>
