Pop in for Pop-Ups
Sometimes it's hard to find the gifts that are both thoughtful AND unique, however, at these amazing seasonal pop-up events, you'll be able to do just that... and treat yourself too of course.
Not so much a pop-up as an absolutely epic Christmas Market. Winchester *always* delivers the goods when it comes to Christmas cheer and frivolity, and this year’s market is looking to continue that trend.
Let’s take it back, retro-style to where Christmas really came into its own. We all know how Queen Victoria’s hubby, Prince Albert, brought lots of his German traditions into the homes of the Brits. Well, with that in mind it makes sense that the Queen’s favourite house is the ideal place to get into the Christmas Spirit. This fair, run by English Heritage, is a quintessential Victorian Christmas. There’s rides and activities for the kids, plus some amazing stalls – it even goes into the evening, so you can see the (thankfully modern) Christmas lights sparkle in all their glory. We ARE amused.
Etsy Made Local Southampton Christmas Pop-Up, The Spark Building, Southampton, Sun 2 Dec
There are some SUPER talented crafters in and around Southampton and while most of the time they’re popping their wares up on Etsy, this Etsy Made Local event brings all of that offline and into the real world. This is a great place to snaffle a few unique Christmas presents in the run-up to the big day. I’m a BIG fan of The Whimsical Kitchen, its edible creations are almost too cute to eat (almost…) and Hey Hey Ginger makes adorable brooches and patches that are ideal stocking fillers for tweens.
A cosy little pop-up to get you in the Christmas mood, not only is Warborne Farm stunningly beautiful but you’ll be treated to top quality traders, fabulous festive food, Christmas carolling and wine. Spread over two days, you’ll have a chance to get some Christmas presents and get yourself feeling all festive in time for the season. Muddy favourites Kempton Branson will be bringing some fab fashion as well.
With sweeping gardens and impressive turrets, Rhinefield House wouldn’t look out of place in a magical snowglobe. So, it’s understandable that they would be getting into the spirit of the season with their very own Christmas Market. Here you can find a range of stalls from local New Forest businesses including, but not limited to local gins, chocolate, various food products, arts, crafts and gifts.
