<p>Hampshire-formed girl group Remember Monday really were asking <em>What the Hell Just Happened</em>? when their catchy song was revealed as this year&#8217;s Eurovision entry. And they&#8217;ve also been confirmed on the Big Top line-up for this year&#8217;s <a href="https://isleofwightfestival.com/line-up" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Isle of Wight festival</a>.</p>

<p>The trio &#8211; who all met at Farnborough Sixth Form College &#8211; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DG74s8pNWpB/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hit back at the &#8216;nil point&#8217; haters on Instagram</a> in a brilliantly funny and harmonious riposte. However they fare, these girls are going to have a blast.</p>

<p>Superflashy loves it when celebs are spotted on the Isle of Wight or the ferry over. Unlike the likes of<a href="https://hants.muddystilettos.co.uk/things-to-do/latest-news/superflashy-newsflash-july-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom</a> (who disappeared the moment they disembarked the Red Funnel), Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson seemed happy to be videoed as tried his hand at pulling pints in the Isle of Wight&#8217;s oldest pub, <a href="https://whitehorseiow.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The White Horse Inn at Whitwell</a>, Ventnor. Looks like he did a pretty good job, too.</p>

<p>Speaking of local businesses, who watched this brave, Winchester-based entrepreneur face down a panel of dragon investors &#8211; and come out smiling? Carla Saull, who created &#8216;<a href="https://www.goodwashday.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Good Wash Day</a>&#8216; hair towels in 2020, bagged a £40,000 investment from Sara Davies. And some welcome publicity to-boot. Now that <em>was </em>a good day at the office.</p>

On at Rhinefield House in Brockenhurst this 28 March, <a href="https://www.handpickedhotels.co.uk/rhinefieldhouse/women-in-wine" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Women in Wine: A Celebration</a> will see fourth-generation vigneron Nina Pulenta join forces with Master Sommelier Clément Robert for a special wine event. Together, they’ll guide lucky guests through a tasting of the Argentinian Pulenta Estate’s wines – grown high in the Andes – paired with a four-course feast.
