Muddy Awards Winners’ Drinks

In the grounds of a breathtaking stately home with plenty of Hampshire fizz and cocktails - it's the Muddy Awards winners drinks, of course!

Pylewell House, Lymington

Pylewell House, Lymington

The great and the good of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight descended to Lymington’s absolutely gorgeous Pylewell Park last week for the Muddy Awards winners’ drinks.

We had a brilliant turn out of the victors (including some who crossed over from the Island!) and we really ramped up the party for this year! A beautiful venue, gorgeous weather (organised by us, honestly… *cough*), fabulous Hampshire sparkling wine from Cottonworth Wines plus some exciting cocktails from Gin Rummy served from the super cute Gin Tin Bar.

Everyone was in brilliant spirits which you can see from the photos taken by Gemma of Cotton Candy Weddings. Having worked with her in the past I knew she would be able to perfectly capture all the fun and atmosphere of the event and she didn’t disappoint.

We had originally planned to hold the event inside the fantastic Pavilion, but with the sun shining and the gorgeous grounds all around us (not to mention the Isle of Wight peeking out in the background) everybody sat out on the terrace mingling and basking in the glow of their achievements. Muddy awards WinnerDanielle Jones Muddy Awards Hants IoW PresentationMS-Awards-6June2019-138There were some pretty wonderful treats on offer as well – canapés courtesy of Little Kitchen Company (a previous Muddy award winner itself), delectable handmade chocolates from Thorpe Confectionery beautifully adorned with the Muddy logo, as well as bespoke Muddy biscuits from GatesBakes.

But there would be no party with no Awards, and no Awards with no readers to vote for their most loved indie businesses, so it’s a big heartfelt THANK YOU from me to you for taking the time to give your local favourites a pat on the back and showing your support for the Muddies. See you in 2020 for the fourth year (can you believe it?!!) of the Awards in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, but until then, give a virtual round of applause to …
