Warbrook House Hotel, Eversley
Muddy says: This Georgian mansion is located on the Hampshire/Berkshire border and offers relaxing rooms and a brand new spa on its 121 acres.
If you’re looking for a grand getaway then perhaps a Grade I listed mansion will fit the bill? Warbrook House Hotel, located in Eversley, dates back to 1724 and is surrounded by a whopping 121 acres of Grade II listed gardens, complete with its very own Versailles-style canal.
With 74 bedrooms spread across The Mansion House, The Grange, and The Lodge, you can chill and unwind in your room before heading for something to eat.
Dining-wise you’ve got a couple of options. For a more casual evening of dining then check out The Atrium Bar with their bar menu of cocktails, pizza and light bites. For something slightly more formal, then enjoy the traditional decor of the Canal View Restaurant with its juxtaposed menu of modern dishes.
And if you fancy even more relaxation (yes, please!) then you need to check out the latest addition to the hotel, The Park Spa. Here they have six treatment rooms, (three of which are couples rooms and perfect for a romantic massage) using ESPA products, a manicure and pedicure lounge, sauna, steam room, gym and relaxation lounge. And if all that pampering has exhausted you, then just grab a drink at the in-house gin and fizz lounge and linger in the outdoor hot tubs or by the firepit.
