If you’re the sort of person who believes a drizzle of really good olive oil can transform a dish, you’ll want to know about Two&One. This little Hampshire gem has a big story behind it – one that stretches all the way to the sun-drenched olive groves of Jaén in southern Spain.
Founder Lola Rubio grew up among her family’s Picual olive trees, where five generations of traditional, sustainable olive growing have shaped the way they make their exceptional extra virgin olive oil. When Lola moved to Hampshire with her husband Ben Knowles in 2004, the pair spent years bringing bottles back from Spain in their suitcases for friends and family (because everyone wanted more).
The turning point came around the table at their converted old village shop in Cheriton, where Lola began hosting suppers using local Hampshire ingredients paired with her family’s olive oil. Guests were amazed at how one simple ingredient could elevate everyday cooking – and Two&One was born.
Launched in 2023, Two&One is a beautiful marriage of Spanish heritage and British countryside living. Made from one exceptional Picual olive variety, the range includes Verde (fresh and spicy), Envero (fragrant and balanced) and Negra (smooth and creamy) – three harvests, three flavours, one very special story.
Produced directly from Lola’s family groves in Andalucía, this is olive oil with provenance, passion and a serious place on your kitchen worktop.
