At last – a Winchester soft play where adults can enjoy a good coffee while the kids happily run wild. A brilliant soft-play-and-more destination for local parents and families, Thrive + Wild opened its doors at The Foundry in Kings Worthy in January 2026.

At its core, Thrive + Wild has the largest indoor soft-play area in Winchester, cleverly zoned for babies, toddlers and older children. There’s plenty to burn-off energy in the Junior Area, with slides, climbing frames, crawl tunnels and balance beams, while younger visitors have their own safe, sensory-rich spaces designed to build confidence as well as coordination.

But Thrive + Wild is more than a play centre. There’s a proper café (hello Flat Whites), a children’s hairdresser and other local businesses under one roof, giving it a real community feel and plenty of reasons to linger.

Thrive + Wild co-founders, Tamara Lloyd Pratt and Wayne Chandler, have set out to create a “home away from home” – somewhere relaxed, welcoming and genuinely useful for families.

Thoughtful touches include a focus on recyclable materials and a commitment to reinvesting some profits back into the community. Memberships are family-friendly too, with one child as the main member and up to six adults included – ideal for modern, multi-generational households with grandparents and other carers in the mix.
