A friendly, award-winning local salon in the Test Valley, Salon 73 was opened in 2013 by hairdresser and salon owner, Vanessa Cleary.

Previously, Vanessa had worked in top UK salons before deciding to launch her own business. Together with her team, she quickly grew a loyal client base at the salon, which is well known as a go-to for stylish cuts and natural-looking or super-vibrant, standout colour.

Their popularity in the town and with happy customers helped Salon 73 snag the prestigious title of Best Hair Salon in the 2018 and 2019 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Muddy Awards, as well as Best Local Business in the 2022 Andover Inspiration Awards.

Salon 73’s popularity continued to be recognised in 2023, when Vanessa and her team made the cut as a finalist in the hotly-contested Hampshire and Isle of Wight Muddy Awards.

The recognition in 2023 came in a big year for Vanessa and her team. Having outgrown their Andover base, Salon 73 needed larger premises and cut the ribbon on a new studio in the Fairground craft and business centre in Weyhill, just outside the town.

Busy as ever, the Salon 73 team have settled into their new home in the pretty Weyhill location, where 15 hair colourists and stylists offer prebookable appointments and there are plans afoot for to offer new hair massage treatments. And relaxxx.
