Time to get outdoors and breathe some sweet sweet countryside air. Visitors to the Royal Victoria Country Park are certainly able to get plenty of that when they park up and escape into nature.
But it’s not just leafy green loveliness either here, the park is also home to fab attractions including a miniature railway, multiple play areas, BBQs for hire, a cafe and even its very own chapel that was once part of a military hospital.
As well as a fabulous day out with the family, you can even choose to hold your wedding here at the chapel along with the beautiful natural surroundings of the park (2019 is fully booked and a few spaces left for 2020, so be quick!
And, even if you’re not planning on tying the knot, you can take a look around the chapel itself for free and for a small fee (£3.25 or £2 for children) you can clamber up the 107 steps to the tower for a unique and striking view of Hampshire.
There’s also a huge range of events held at the park throughout the year including the Heritage Open Days Weekend, summer events and activities during the school holidays and a fantastic Christmas theatre production, live in the Royal Victoria Chapel.
