Situated in Wickham’s medieval Square, the ivy-clad Quob Park Hotel & Spa opened in 2023 in the town’s Grade II-listed Old House Hotel building.

The historic hotel was once the last coach house on the London to Portsmouth route. Nowadays, behind the ivy and rose-clad walls sit 10 individually designed rooms and suites, a smart restaurant, a well-equipped gym and a multi-level Rose Spa.

A quirky and luxe experience, Quob Park Hotel’s Rose Spa has its own secret spa garden, hot tubs, Jacuzzi, saunas and steam room with ice chute, an experience shower, cold water (wine) barrel plunges and a wine pod. Continuing the theme, there’s wine-inspired Caudalie treatments along with relaxing ESPA and Aromatherapy Associates facials, massage, body scrubs and more. They also offer Manicures and Pedicures using the best of the best CND products with choices from casual polish to Shellac.

Back inside the hotel and it’s fine dining all the way in Restaurant 1707, led by Michelin-starred Chefs. And of course, there’s a serious wine list here with over 1,000 bottles to choose from. Quob Park Hotel & Spa also serve up tasty afternoon teas and a relaxed menu of sandwiches, snacks and sharing boards in the Café de Paris club bar.

Guests that fancy it can even hop in the hotel’s Land Rover Discovery and be whisked to the Quob Park Estate to explore the vineyard and sip the seriously good sparkling wine in situ. Fabulous.
