Located opposite the island’s famous Folly Pub and the Isle of Wight Festival site on the River Medina, the Pinkmead Estate and Vineyard has twenty-four acres of absolutely stunning uninterrupted riverfront views, a private jetty and some of the country’s rarest wildlife, from wild Canadian geese, swans and herons to owls, woodpeckers and scampering red squirrels.

Spot on for a special occasion or family get-together, the main house comfortably sleeps six. Outside, there’s a separate Kitchen Garden and Yoga Studio (with its own cinema room), home to a shiny new all-mod cons kitchen with a Sonos system to dance the night away. And if you love a soak, this is the place to do it – the unit also has incredible ensuite bathroom with possibly one of the best views on the island, and there’s award-winning skincare products from Pure Lakes to complete the bathroom bliss-out.

Walk the estate (the perfect poochy playground) and take a tour of Pinkmead’s beekeeping operation and organic, biodynamic estate vineyard, all included in the holiday. If you prefer a more leisurely exploration (no judgement here) there’s an electric golf buggy to use around the estate (nicknamed Eddie after the legendary Ab Fab character) with space for a picnic hamper and a bottle of something lovely and chilled. If you fancy striking out further afield, Pinkmead has two adult and two child’s Pendleton bikes to freewheel it to nearby Cowes, Newport or further afield.

Getting hitched? Newly announced as a rustic-luxe wedding venue. bookings are going fast for the 2024 season (June and September). Packages for small or larger parties of 50+ include access to the entire estate and its facilities. There’s even a private helipad if you really want to wow your wedding guests!

The Pinkmead team will also take care of estate wedding coordination, licensed security and parking facilities and access to a choice of ceremony venues such as the intimate Poetry Hut, Yoga Studio, Kitchen Garden, Boathouse and vineyard.

Of course, wedding days always go by in a flash. But at Pinkmead, there’s the option to add ‘Day Before’ activities like pre-celebration massages, fitness or yoga sessions, gin and whisky tastings, and an afternoon luncheon in the vineyard. We do!
