Style has no age limit – something the owner of Niche, a lovely little independent lifestyle and womenswear store in the village of Denmead, near Waterlooville, knows well.

Set up in 2021 by Mandy Skeens, after a career in customer-facing roles at Barclays Bank and High Street fashion retailers, the shop was the realisation of a lifetime dream to one day have her own boutique. Mandy really had found her Niche.

Customers aged from 20s to 80s come to Niche to find a glam new dress, top and accessories, stopping to chat and laugh with the friendly team. Occasions like weddings, graduations and holidays are all catered for, as well as well-priced wardrobe updates.

To give them plenty to choose from, Mandy picks her fashion and homewares from all over the UK, as well as finding chic boutiques in France and Italy.

A welcome alternative to the big High Street chains, signature lines at Niche include Italian fashion, the feminine Danish Brand soya concept, cool and wearable styles from the French brand Willow and fragrant candles from local firm Hampshire Wick.
