Something to eat and something to keep is the fabulous idea behind this thoughtful gift brand, with personalised messages imprinted into hand-poured top-notch Belgian chocolate. Cheeky, cheerful, charming or sentimental, you can upload a picture to accompany a thoughtful choccy message and the lucky recipient will be cheered up by your smiling face, loveable dopey dog, vintage snap or any other happy time together.
Dicky Broadhurst, the brains behind Morse Toad, had the lightbulb moment for the business on a charity bike ride from Cairo to Cape Town. He had just completed a five-and-a-half-month journey when a care package arrived that had missed him at a checkpoint four months earlier and had been following him ever since. Inside, there was a good luck message and a rather dishevelled-looking chocolate bar, a small token from home that gave Dicky pause for thought about the significance that thoughtful gestures from loving friends and family can have.
Sent all around the UK in letterbox-friendly packages, the Morse Toad team handmake each personalised gift in Lymington, Hampshire. As well as cheeky, cheerful or thoughtful messages (or maybe a choccie apology if you’re currently in the bad books), look out for corporate gifts, wedding favours and seasonal pressies like Morse Toad’s fab personalised Christmas Advent calendar, Easter bunnies, spooky Halloween chocs and a whole load of other novel and extremely tasty ideas.
