Chiropractic Care, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage Therapy: Whether you’ve been living with pain for a long period of time or have a new injury, the team will ascertain the cause and location of the problem and treat with a combination of chiropractic adjustments, deep tissue and sports massage therapy and massage to alleviate the pain.

Once treatment is complete, the clinic will provide a schedule of ongoing chiropractic treatment and/or rehabilitation advice to help keep the pain away, including advice and recommendations for exercise regime, diet and massage.

Cupping and IASTM: Massage therapist Hannah Day uses a variety of tools and techniques, including instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM) and cupping – a safe, traditional treatment that increases circulation and blood flow in targeted areas and helps resolve chronically tight muscles and pain. Cupping has also shown to have a positive effect on conditions such as carpal tunnel and eased the discomfort of arthritis.

Pregnancy and Paediatric Chiropractic Care: Chiropractor Charlotte Woodhouse is trained in paediatric and cranial techniques and helps women deal with the physical strain of pregnancy. She applies a wide variety of safe and gentle techniques to help alleviate back pain and minimise the discomforts of pregnancy both during and post-natal. Charlotte can also examine your baby or child’s spine to assess for any postural, muscular or spinal imbalances which may have occurred during birth, then address any muscularskeletal imbalance which can help soothe and relax your baby.

Kinesio Taping: Used by many sporting elite, Kineseo tape was created by Kenso Kase, a Japanese-American chiropractor, in the 1970s. The Lymington Chiropractic Clinic’s trained chiropractors are skilled in the use of taping and use it to treat a range of problems from tennis elbow to shoulder pain, knee pain, lower-back pain and the initial phase of frozen shoulder. It can also provide relief for feet and medial arch pain among other problems.

Reiki: Massage therapist Hannah is a Reiki Master. She believes that Reiki allows your body and mind time to totally relax, unwind and become unburdened of stress and anxiety. This helps ease tensions and pain, improve mood, reduce stress and anxiety and helps to create a sense of positive well-being.

Oncology Massage: Hannah is also trained in Oncology massage. At the Lymington Chiropractic Clinic, she treats those suffering from cancer and provides precious time out and relaxation at a time when it’s needed most.

Acupuncture: Practicing one of the longest established forms of healthcare in the world, licensed acupuncturist Amanda Caspari uses it to help relieve specific aches and pains for her patients, including osteoarthritis of the knee, headaches, migraine and low-back pain.

Podiatry: Podiatrist Paul Gray helps his patients keep feet looking and feeling their best, helping with everything from a simple toenail cut to the removal of corns and callous and more complex treatments like nail surgery under local anesthetic and gait analysis.
