A converted, riverside barn in a stunning countryside setting near Romsey, Kimbridge Barn is a relaxed, stylish café and tea room. Great for mid-week catchups and weekend treats, it’s open every day for breakfast, brunch, lunch and super-indulgent homemade cakes.

Local produce features across the menu, including in the afternoon tea which is a particular specialty. Finger sandwiches are made using plenty of local ingredients like ChalkStream trout pate, Alresford watercress, harissa chicken mayonnaise and Old Winchester & tomato relish.

Fruity or plain scones come with clotted cream and strawberry jam. And if you can find the room (just try us), Kimbridge Barn’s afternoon tea also features an outstanding selection of treats like the salted caramel and 72% chocolate bar, clementine cake, and lime curd and white chocolate cheesecake, all freshly made by an in-house pastry chef and served with a choice of loose-leaf tea or Mozzo coffee. A favourite with local couples set to tie the knot, Kimbridge Barn is also a popular and completely idyllic Hampshire wedding venue and private events space. It’s so popular, it was voted as Best Wedding Venue in the 2022 and 2023 Muddy Awards.

A truly stunning setting, the barn combines riverside views and rustic chic beautifully, accommodating up to 100 people seated and 120 people standing, with exclusive access to a pretty, enclosed courtyard. For meetings, baby showers, anniversaries and other smaller gatherings, there’s the Boot Room, a brilliant space with cosy log fire, large farmhouse-style table, Wi-Fi, TV screen and music system.
