A destination farm shop and café located just outside of Winchester in the village of Headbourne Worthy, Cobbs at Winchester has been a firm favourite in the local community for over three decades. This super strong support, commitment to brilliant local produce and great customer service saw it crowned as Best Farmshop/Deli in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight at the 2022 Muddy Awards.

What began as a simple watercress shed has changed a lot in the more than three decades of trading. But the friendly welcome and commitment to quality food and provenance here – shared across the Cobbs group of independent farm shops – remains the same. Shelves are stacked with loads of fresh local and seasonal produce. When in season, there’s delicious, locally-grown products like tomatoes from the Isle of Wight and apples from Hampshire, with British where possible for the rest of the year.

A real foodie destination where you can grab a coffee or some lunch and pick up your entire weekly shop, alongside the super-fresh veg, Cobbs also has a delicatessen, traditional butchery counter, florist, plant centre and weekly pop-up fishmonger.

Cobbs also works with loads of great local producers, stocking bakery, dairy and fresh produce along with super store cupboard essentials.

The traditional butchery counter sources ethically farmed and high-quality meat from local and British farmers, including free-range pork and poultry, local lamb, seasonal game and local beef, dry-aged for 28 days on site.

Preparing café fare for all seasons with indoor and outdoor (covered) seating, the café at Cobbs at Winchester is a highlight. All the breakfast and lunch dishes are homemade and inspired by the seasons, with recipes using fresh seasonal ingredients.
