The Cliff House has some pretty impressive views in its arsenal. This recently refurbed restaurant and bar with rooms is located in the little village of Barton on Sea along the A35 in the New Forest, on the outskirts of New Milton.

The restaurant serves up fantastic locally cooked cuisine, and the bar comes complete with their own beer on tap and their in-house FlipFlop gin. They also serve a delicious sounding Afternoon Tea menu and live music nights.

Its 7 rooms boast names such as Wight, Plymouth, Dover, after British maritime heritage, and come complete with a stylish comfy bed, en suite complete with local smellies and the promise of homemade shortbread. Some of the rooms even have a view over to The Needles on the Isle of Wight on a clear day.

One of the very best things about The Cliff House though is when you step outside it’s a very short walk down to the beach where you can stroll along the shoreline or lounge in the sun during the summer months.
