ChilliWinter Woodwick Candles

Muddy says: Burn baby burn! These fabulous hand poured wooden wicked candles come in 40 scents and are totally eco-friendly and lovingly created on the Isle of Wight.

ChilliWinter Main

ChilliWinter Woodwick Candles are luxury soy candles made by hand on the Isle of Wight. Made with a wooden wick rather than a traditional cotton one, they burn more slowly and produce no soot or allergens during their long burn times. They also make a gentle crackling sound as they burn so you can close your eyes and imagine you’ve got a roaring fire on the go – even on a balmy summer night.

The range comes in a whopping 40 delightful fragrances from the classics such as Citronella or Sage and Sea Salt and scents to the kookier such as Prosecco Bubbles, Coconut & Lime and Freshly Cut Grass.

The candles are all eco-friendly and created by an Island couple who inadvertently started the business after friends and family raved about their Rhubarb Gin and Rhubarb candles they made as a hobby. They now supply 16 Island shops and appear at local shows and events as well.

You can choose from two different sizes (100ml and 200ml) which burn for up to 16-20 hours and 35-40 hours respectively. You get a lot of aroma for your dollar with these. The packaging is slick and simple with silver and rose gold tins, that wouldn’t look out of place in any home – even if your aesthetic is pure minimalism.

ChilliWinter MakingAnd, for all you creative makers and budding candle enthusiasts, ChilliWinter also run experience-based workshops where you craft and create your very own customised candles, using a range of materials and techniques. This Autumn they’ll be incorporating making Food Wraps too into their workshops!
