Last week we gathered in the dreamy, sun-dappled kitchen garden at Chewton Glen in the New Forest to celebrate this year&#8217;s <a href="https://hants.muddystilettos.co.uk/muddy-awards/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hampshire and Isle of Wight Muddy Awards</a> winners in style. 



With more <a href="https://hants.muddystilettos.co.uk/awards/winners/">Muddy Awards 2026 finalists</a> than ever before, it was the most hotly-contested Awards yet – and a pleasure to shine a light on the many inspiring lifestyle businesses that keep Hampshire and the Isle of Wight buzzing.

From clinking glasses and catching up with familiar faces to collecting certificates and posing for celebratory photos &#8211; captured beautifully by talented New Forest-based photographer <a href="https://alannahhebbertphotography.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Alannah Hebbert</a> &#8211; the afternoon was all about recognising the talented local businesses that make our region such a fantastic place to live, work and play.

If there was ever a venue made for a summer celebration, it&#8217;s <a href="https://www.chewtonglen.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chewton Glen</a>. The hotel&#8217;s beautiful kitchen garden provided the perfect backdrop for catching up with familiar faces, meeting this year&#8217;s winners and raising a glass to another incredible year for local independent businesses.

Alongside delicious canapés, guests enjoyed chilled English sparkling rosé served by the events team – the perfect accompaniment to a sunny summer afternoon.

The refreshments certainly kept everyone smiling. Eastleigh&#8217;s <a href="https://vrum.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">V Rum</a> mixed up a delicious selection of cocktails, while <a href="https://hants.muddystilettos.co.uk/lifestyle/beauty-lifestyle/tide-collagen-water/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tide collagen drinks</a> were on hand to keep guests feeling refreshed throughout the afternoon.

Of course, the evening wasn&#8217;t really about the cocktails, cupcakes or goody bags (although they certainly helped). It was about celebrating the entrepreneurs, makers, creators and passionate business owners behind this year&#8217;s Muddy Awards.
